Eighteen years ago, I launched this blog as a way to document what God was teaching me when my first child was born. Reflecting on life and the struggle to trust God has been my theme over the years. I've had the joy of documenting motherhood, sharing bits and pieces of marriage, educating about adoption, and featuring the stories of adoptive parents, birth parents, and adoptees in this space.
In the midst of serving families as an Adoption Consultant, homeschooling two of our five children, and supporting my hubby as he pastors, I'm wrestling with trusting God at home. Through it all, Jesus has remained faithful to me despite my daily failures. I love to write honestly about adoption, parenting, and fighting to hold to what is True along the way.
I love salvation, reading, coffee, live music, the ocean, chips and salsa, time with family, and His mercies that are new every morning! Life is a gift from God that I'm trying to savor through the broken and beautiful and everything in between.
