I had the privilege of doing a training session with a group of hopeful adoptive parents when Michelle and her mother came up and introduced themselves. Approaching adoption as a single parent is not an easy thing, but I knew right away that Michelle was prepared and had a wonderful source of support surrounding her. Michelle was surrounded by love and her family was ready to join her in the journey.
